Letter from the Board

Ecce Veritas Academy will not be open for the 2009-2010 academic year.

Dear Friends,

It is with regret that we inform you that Ecce Veritas Academy will not open for the 2009-2010

academic year. While a combination of factors necessitated this decision, the most conclusive of these was our low registration numbers for the coming academic year. We completed this academic year financially stable and with the means to proceed, if the registration number supported the necessary infrastructure, but it does not.

It is our plan, as the Ecce Veritas Academy Board, to address this challenge during the coming months, focusing our efforts on increasing awareness and support of our unique educational option, with the hope that we could reopen with a minimum of forty students for the 2010-2011 or 2011-2012 academic year.

We deeply appreciate your prayers and generous support of our efforts to provide an outstanding

classical education to middle and high school students. We know you shared our joy as we graduated our first four-year class, this past May, bringing to twenty the number of Ecce Veritas Academy graduates to-date. We encourage those of you who were not able to attend this year's graduation to click on the youtube link from our website, ecceveritas.org, and view the video of this wonderful celebration.

With the expectation to successfully market and reopen Ecce Veritas Academy, we will continue

fundraising throughout this interim. We will be in communication with you during this time and

encourage you to regularly check our website for updates on our progress.

We ask for your continued prayers and support and for God's gracious blessing on our endeavor to

provide a classical education in the Catholic tradition to middle and high school students in the

Portland/Vancouver area.

In Christ,

The Ecce Veritas Academy Board of Directors
